i have a problem with ISDN timeout on a VIC-2B-NT/TE and a 1751V.
I'm using the router as a voip / ISDN gateway, with ISDN setup in network mode. Everithing is working fine except when i try to simulate a problem on NT network. If i connect my ISDN phone on the router with correct MSN my phone work well (ringing, answer voice hangup etc...) but when i place the wrong one the phone correctly doesn't ring but the cisco router stuck. The B-Chan where the router place the call is marked as used, with ISDN status i see the B-chan allocated with a CCB:
ISDN BRI1/1 interface ******* Network side configuration ******* dsl 1, interface ISDN Switchtype = basic-net3 Layer 1 Status: ACTIVE Layer 2 Status: Layer 2 NOT Activated Layer 3 Status: 0 Active Layer 3 Call(s) CCB:callid=8038, sapi=0, ces=1, B-chan=1, calltype=VOICE Active dsl 1 CCBs = 1 The Free Channel Mask: 0x80000002 Total Allocated ISDN CCBs = 1
this stay pending until i shutdown the bri interface. On SIP server last message is a SIP 100 Try and no more. It' seems that router wait forever for an answer on B-CHAN and no timeout is coming. This problem generically happen when Layer 1 Status is ACTIVE and there is no ISDN TE equipment that can answer the call. I try to set up every isdn timers with no results. This is my configuration:
