Mismatch in sh spe command

Hello all,

we are using the Cisco AS5400 series with IOS 12.4(13d) as Voice over IP Gateways.

The calls are routed via ISDN E1 PRI connections to IP (H.323 and SIP).

My problem is that I have differences in the output of the command sh spe.

Please see below:

cisco5401#sh spe

Settings :

==========

Country code config : germany

History log events : 50(per port)

Legend :

==========

Port state: (s)shutdown (r)recovery (t)test (a)active call

(b)busiedout (d)download (B)bad (p)busyout pending

Call type : (m)modem (d)digital (v)voice (f)fax-relay (_)not in use

Summary :

==========

Ports : Total 324 In-use 26 Free 298 Disabled 0

Calls : Modem 0 Digital 0 Voice 18 Fax-relay 0

Currently there are 18 voice calls on the system. But can anyone explain me why 26 SPE Ports are used for only 18 calls?

Thank you in advance,

Timur

A call always starts out as Failed, then transitions to Success once we connect ...it's always been this way.

Hi,

could you please clarify your message.

Best regards,

Timur
