Need Help on Voip Implementation

My manager has given me the assignment to give him the proposal of deploying the voip in our company. Therefore i need your best suggestions, so that i work on it.

Here is scenario

I am in headoffice and this office is connected to its branch office through DSL links. The bandwidth is not issue. There are nearly 7 sites. I dont want to replace PBX with Voip device, but i want to run both. In second phase i will replace all voice over ip device.

In this scenario plz suggest me the hardware and protocol that best suits, that should be cost effective also.

I think you're going to need to specify more about the requirements of your project. Try starting with the type of PBX, its interconnections and capacity requirements. You might also put some kind of an upper boundary on your budget since 'cost effective' for one company is certainly not so much for another.
