I am trying to block the ID for all outbound pstn calls. I tried calid strip on the dial-peer voice but I still see where the call origination ID on the destination phone. I also tried caller-id block on the voice port but I get an error saying that the command in unrecognizable.

Did you try to block the clid from origination side? Normally when you stripped off the clid at POTS, you shouldnt have seen the number

thank you for the reply, the termination call will show the number of the pstn line. i am not worried about the origination call id. when the person on the receiving end picks up the phone he only sees the phone number of the as5300 number. my goal is to make that info unknown.
