PGW2200 maximum B number of digits

In our system I need to increase maximum number of digits that are sent to other STPs. I inserted TmaxDigits=32 and OD32DigitSupport=1 to SS7 paths and to trunk group configuration.

Now MGC sends out more than 16 digits but I get Cause =111, Protocol Error messages.

14:20:46.517204 0-001-7[00015] 0-003-6[00030] ITU ISUP. -> IAM (01) CIC=00377 CDPN=109930078636020615F CGPN=7112278

SLS=09 Pr:0 Ni:NTL

14:20:46.627141 0-003-6[00030] 0-001-7[00015] ITU ISUP. -> REL (0c) CIC=00377 Cause 111 = Protocol Error, Unspecified

What else should I change to get this thing working?

1. Have you configured "overlap" mode?

2. Are you sure that the other side is configured to accept 32 digit numbers?

Is this the right document to look for when configuring overlaping mode or did you mean something else?

Got it working after I removed 32 digit support and added TOverlap=1, TmaxDigits=32.

After these changes PGW started to send longer than 16-digit number in two messages IAM+SAM.

I think that other end just did not accept 32-digits in IAM messages.

That is why I told you to check with the other side first. Otherwise you are working 'on blind'
