SIP calls getting dropped - Intermittent issue in SIP calls
As of now it occurs intermittently across the day and there is no specific time frame (during the day) for this issue. It happens intermittently across the day.User reported failled SIP call drops (intermittently).
Topology Involved :
PDAL518 -- --- OBS Riverbed ---- KDAL1062 ---- MSDALFW ------ Microsoft Nexus Switches (dal-x3ag-mms-1a/b) -------- Microsoft Routers Juniper MX960/dal-96gmr-mms-1b.
1- We checked on kdal1062 2- traffic to 220.127.116.11 will go out of Port-channel1 3- No errors or drops are noticed anymore. ==================================
A brief on the issue: ================
Some SIP calls are failing intemittently. We did packet captures on the firewall and found that there were some SIP invite packets which were not passing the firewall. Their entries are there on the ingress interface, but not on egress.\
For your information, 1. SIP ALG is disabled. 2. There is no natting configured. 3. Required policy has been configured on the firewall to pass the traffic.
