I have seen similar messages posted but no clear resolution. We are trying to authenticate two lines to the same ITSP in our lab. The registration process works fine and we can receive calls. The problem comes in when trying to place calls. During the debug session we can see the call failing due to the router not sending any authentication parameters. Any guidance would be appreciated.

use the 'debug ccsip all' and the 'show tech' on the gateway which will give you the details about the failure

Hi! Actually that is how I know the setup is failing due to an authentication error. It does not seem the VOIP dial-peer is using the authentication parameters from the SIP registration on the POTS port.
