the issue about h.323&nat

I have a router 2620 regarded as a gateway used to connect the private address client to internet. And there¡¯s video conference application deployed in private address client who must access the internet to make a video conference call. I have a question is whether I need not only to configure the static address translation in 2620, but also configure something else like admitting 2620 to open its h.323 port or protocol and so on. Thanks.

Sincerely

Re: the issue about h.323&nat

If you are not using an access list to explicitly deny it, then you dont have to open up the port for the h323 protocor, the packets will be allowed to pass...
