Hi Team,

Hope you all are doing well.

I am doing voice setup using CME Router for one of my client.I have loaded valid IPVOICE image & CME-full-7.1.00.tar file in  CME Router's flash.

I am using ISDN PRI line which is also up & running fine.I have connected cisco 7942 IP Phone to switch  & FAX machine to FXS port on Router.

IP phone getting registered but i cannt make calls. When trying to add port in dial-peer configuration its not taking the port.

Herewith, I am attaching files for your reference.

Can you please guide where i am going wrong?

Thanks & Regards

Hello Manish,

I believe that you have and issue with your dial-peers and that is why the outgoing calls are not working.

Checking your configuration I saw this:

dial-peer voice 801 pots
description ***Outgoing POTS ***
preference 1
destination-pattern 0T
fax rate voice
direct-inward-dial
!

First you need to specify the port that you are going to use to send your calls to the PSTN, in this case will be you E1 circuit, also you have 5 configure as your access code and your dial-peer starts with 0 instead of 5 that will be another important detail.

telephony-service
  secondary-dialtone 5

Also I belive from one of the files that you E1 circuits its not up or its recognize because I don't see it as port in the gateway.

sh voice port summary
