Via Zone Gatekeeper

Hello,

Does anyone know if MC3810 support via zone gatekepper functionality. I am trying to setup a cisco multiservice ip to ip gateway. My 2600xm will be an IPtoIPGW and MC3810 will act as a Gatekeeper.

I am in the process of setting up a Transit connection between two IP call legs. I am not sure whether I should have two gatekeepers one with via zone enable and other will be the local gatekeeper.

Can anyone help me out with design issue.

Thanks.

Re: Via Zone Gatekeeper

If you are doing this at the carrier grade, you might want to consider a session controller from www.nextone.com. it allows you not only to do IP to IP calls between multiple Gateways, Gatekeepers, but also to interconnect different session protocols (SIP and H323) devices.
