Voice card without PVDM

Hello dear community,

Is a VWIC3-1MFT-T1/E1 could work without pvdm or dsp resources?

If yes:

Is there any dsp onboard the VWIC3-1MFT-T1/E1?

What features are disabled if there is no pvdm on this router? (I guess Xcode, mtp and cfb... but what about tdm-to-ip features?)

If No:

Why the pvdm is not mentionned as a requirement in the VWIC3-1MFT-T1/E1 datasheet?

but what about tdm-to-ip features?) - It will consume your router processor to get TDM<->IP.
