We would like to ensure the highest possible voice quality to the VSNL VoIP corporate customers. We therefore need to avoid that the VoIP traffic has to pass through the public Internet at any stage. In order to accomplish this we are planning to establish a leased line between the VSNL router in Frankfurt and our router in Frankfurt. Therewith all VoIP traffic will always remain within the VSNL IP backbone.
VSNL corporate customer à VSNL Internet Leased Line à VSNL international IP backbone à VSNL router Frankfurt à WTN router Frankfurt à WTN Cisco AS5400 or Teles switch with VoIP card.
- What has to be configured in the VSNL routers to send the VoIP traffic directly to our AS5400 or Teles in Frankfurt?
- What do we need to configure in our router in Frankfurt to receive and send the VoIP traffic directly over the leased line to the VSNL router in Frankfurt (and not via our public Internet connection from Global Crossing)?
Can we accomplish this by simply assigning a VSNL IP-address to our router in Frankfurt?
Please do provide me a solution as soon as possible
I presume you are talking about termination of minutes from frankfurt to VSNL. What type of leased circuit you are talking about? you need to elaborate more about your network. At a glance, you can use serial links (depending on your bandwidth).
