voip router

I want to have an ipsec through internet through which to pass simple data and voip traffic. Does anybody give me an idea? Is one analog phone or one voice call. Expect is any requirement for the pbx if I connect it to an fxo in the router. Where other side of ipsec tunnel is a pbx connected to the inside ethernet link in the router.

thnx &

best regards

Re: voip router

Hi,

The question is not verry clear.

If you want to connect the PBX to an FXO interface on the router then you need an analog interface/trunk on the PBX (can be FXS).

Anyway the scenario is good - it will work, please detail your question to get an better answer!

Re: voip router

Ok first of all thank you.

Now let me explain. I need a solution about the VoIP network thruogh Internet. So the sites will be connected to the internet. The VoIP routers will have internet access and will be connected to the central site through the IPSec tunnel. So the VoIP routers will transmit voip packet, expect data packet . The central site will have a VoIP or a connection to the PSTN line or a PABX.

I need voip routers the number of calls are 2 or 1 for the remote site router that will be connected to the Internet, so if you could help me about the dedicated bandwidth for voip. The remote sites will have pbx so that is better to have fxo connected to the pbx not ip phones, so the pbx will forward the call based on number dialed to the voip router which will forward the call to remote site (other voip router) or to the central site where is PSTN or pbx where is connected through an interface of a router to the Ethernet link or E1 interface whhich is installed in the router.

The central site will have internet access, so I think that the link will connect to the remote sites with VoIP routers through IPSec tunnel if this is possible. Expect that I don’t know if I need any software special on the router like cme or cisco unified manager express or a dedicated server for call manager.
