i am pretty new to the Voip....so just have a logical question..... i have 2 sites with 2620 with each side....now if i get adsl and put a adsl module in the router and get a static ip from the isp....and at the same time get an FXS card and putit as well in the router and configure the FXS ports as well as do the routing......and the same thing at other end....would it work???? say i name extension (no to be dialed like ) 5555 i know the basic configuration on FXS.....so in this scenario would the anlog phones talk to each other when i dial the extensions of each other or not???

Hi

You need to have bi-directional reachability to the routers so that you can establish the 2 way communication.

if you are already having the config to do so you can try it out. But do make sure that you have enough bandwidth available to have good voice quality otherwise you may end up in disturbance or drops in the voice conversation.
