Hi,
We encountered an issue with user name and user phone number displayed.
Exemple:
the extension 2000 is assigned to the user USER-A
the extension 1000 is assigned to the user USER-B
I configure a call-forward 2000 (USER-A) --> 1000 (USER-B).
If a USER-C try to call the 2000, he will be redirected to the 1000.
Everything is alright.
But when the USER-A will call the USER-C, USER-C will see on the SPA942 display screen "2000 USER-B" instead of "2000 USER-A".
It seems that SPA942 keep in cache information of communication. Is there a possibility to erase this cache without making a factory reset?

Start mentioning phone system type and version you are using.

Seems like you are not using a Cisco phone system. In that case you have to ask to who makes your phone system. The phone display what the phone system instruct it to display.

Our telephony service provider explain to us that the issue come from the internal memory of the phone.
When we reset the phone to factory default settings, the name are displayed correctly since the next call forward.
This is the only way we've found to resolve the issue but we have to reconfigure the phone each time.
