Conference handset for Cisco UC540 PBX

Could anyone advise me as to whether the Cisco 8831 conference handset can be used on a UC540 PBX system.

The system we have is running the latest software I am aware of, but only lists the 7937 & 7935/6 conference handsets.

If the 8831 does work with the UC540 can you give me any info on how I should configure it?

Hi Jerry,

Cisco 8831 Conference phone is not supported on UC540 device. To configure the 8831 Phone we atleast need to have the IOS version 15.3(3)M version and for UC540 the last release is 15.1(4)M version.
