Background Image for IP Phones

What is the best free ware software to use to size yoru image to png to fit onto the ip phone? I am really hit and miss with the sizing use vista, the fiels are loaded on the flash, the tn shows up in the image background on the phone, but not all of them will apply. It says cannot find file. Yes the xml are correct, I guess it is the sizing of the png file.

Re: Background Image for IP Phones

Any image editor is ok, as long as you honor the following:

  • Full size image—320 pixels (width) by 212 pixels (height)

  • Thumbnail image—80 pixels (width) by 53 pixels (height)

The size ratio of these two images is 4 to 1. More info on:

Re: Background Image for IP Phones

Yep.   Great link for 7970.

Just to add, remember that some other phones require different sizes and hence the png and TN need to be TFTPed to other directories on flash...

Example:

7970 - 7971 - 12 Bits -  /Desktops/320x212x12

*Full size image - 320 pixels  (width) X 212 pixels (height).

*Thumbnail image-80 pixels  (width) X 53 pixels (height).

7945 - 7965 - 16 Bits -  /Desktops/320x212x16

*Full size image-320 pixels  (width) X 212 pixels (height).

*Thumbnail image-80 pixels  (width) X 53 pixels (height).

7975 - 16 Bits -  /Desktops/320x216x16

*Full size image-320 pixels  (width) X 216 pixels (height).

*Thumbnail image-80 pixels (width) X 53  pixels
