Hi,
We´ve encountered a problem when we use call waiting on a SIP enabled SPA504G phone. When an external call is received while the phone is off hook on a call, the call waiting tone is presented as configured on the regional tab.
When an internal call is received while the phone is off hook on a call, a call waiting tone with distinctive ring for the internal ringtone is used instead of the setting on the regional tab. This seems like a bug.
On our system we have setup the phones to use different ringtones for interal and external ring. For some reason the call waiting tone setting on the regional tab is only valid for external calls.
Call waiting tone:
440@-10;*(.3/55/1)
This is a short beep, and silent for 55 seconds.
The syntax we use to choose internal ringtone is:
SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: Office)
Thanks,
Eivind

Did you find a solution for this?
we have complaints call waiting tone is too loud , so we have created a tone to turn if down
but does not work on internal calls for the same reason
