Caller ID - lookup Directory number to display name?

Hi

Have just installed a UC320W at home for testing - replaced an analog DECT system.

One annoying feature that appears to be missing is the ability for the UC320 to "match" an incoming caller ID with a name from the directory and display that name on the screen.

Is this possible or if not is it planned for a future release?

Hi Peter,

This feature is available however, it uses the phone's local directory instead of the External directory provisioned on the GUI, meaning it is configurable on a per phone basis.  You can manually add the number to the phone directory or you can use the missed/answered calls list to manually add entries to the phone's personal directory.  When you add the entry you can customize the calling name display.  (Note you may have to use the rocker key to scroll to the right to see the Save softkey option).  This will take precedence over the calling name delivered from the telco.
