Can you insert a Pause in a Speed Dial?

I have a user that would like to program in their cell phone to their speed dial so they can check their voicemail. Is there a way they can insert a 3 second pause after the cell # on the speed dial so that they can follow their phone number by their password so it will go right in to their messages?

Re: Can you insert a Pause in a Speed Dial?

There is a way to configure this using CLI (not supported in CCA). Configure the speed-dial with phone number. Create an outgoing pots dial-peer with specific match (destination-pattern = cell phone #). Then use the prefix command in the following format:

prefix 14085551111,,123

where, "1" is the longdistance code, "4085551111" is the cell phone number, "," will insert the pauses that you are looking for and "123" is the password.
