Cisco SPA504G issues dialling **xxx

Hello.

Hoping someone can advice what i'm having issues dialling **774 for example from a Cisco SPA504G

Im thinking its issues with the dial plan because if I change it to be *774 I have no issues but the phone does not like the **

I've tried dialling ** with the handset in the hook and off the hook, no differences.

The dial plan I currently have the phone set to is 5xxx|x.|*x 

I would of presumed it should be able to dial **?

Your dialplan contain three patterns, neither of them allow number starting with ** - the letter 'x' matches any one numeric digit ('0' .. '9') , not the *

You meed to modify your dial plan to follow your requirement.
