CiscoIPPhoneDirectory - 10000byte limit?

I'm reposting my question from XML applicaton sub-forum here:

Hi, I tried to use CiscoIPPhoneDirectory XML directory and ran into a limit around 10000byte for the XML file.
I used SPA504g phone and tested with FW 7.4.6, 7.4.7, 7.4.8. Only the error massage changed

If the file is smaller then 10000bytes it work just fine, if it reaches something like 10298bytes I get a "Request failed" when trying to open the Directory.

In FW 7.4.6 I got a "404-not found" message. The error should be easily reproducible so I'm not including any examples.

Is this limit by design or a bug?

10000bytes gives proximately 90-100 entries and this is surely to small of a limit for a directory?

Hi vlacmanov

XML directory is limited by design to 100 entries, if you need to search in a bigger directory you may go for LDAP search option.
