Direct to voicemail softkey for SP500 series phones?

Is it possible to make a softkey that my users can press during an active call that will prompt them to put in an extension, prepends a *96 to the extension, and then does a blind transfer to that number?

Or even better a softkey that can use the speed dial keys on their SPA500s instead of prompting them to enter an extension number.

I'm open to any crazy ideas. Or a different way to implement my feature. Anything so that my users don't have to use a feature code to transfer people directly to voicemail.
