We have a UC540 installed at the customer site and using SPA525 as phones.
When receiving an external call the number is displayed in the following way 00005251354780. When using the redialing function it comes to error due to that redialing isn't possible. How can we setup the system so that redialing is enabled.
We have to get rid of the first 2 leading zeros. How can we do that.
One zero is used to get the external line and the other to define the area code so the total number should look like 005251354780 or even including the country code then it should come up as 00495251354780. How can that be achieved?

Hello Peter,
It issue is probably related to a translation rule on the incoming dial-peer.
If you are using CCA you can adjust the inbound translation rules via: Configure -> Dial Plan -> Call-Back Rules.
If you have a CLI config, please post the following:
incoming dial-peer
translation profile associated with incoming dial-peer
translation rules associated with the translation profile
Thanks,
-john

I hope this is what you mean
!
voice translation-rule 1
rule 5 /^184020/ /21/
rule 9 /^18402/ //
!
voice translation-rule 10
rule 1 /\(^.+\)/ /00\1/ type national national
rule 2 /\(^.+\)/ /000\1/ type international international
rule 3 /\(^.+\)/ /00\1/ type any subscriber
!
voice translation-rule 50
rule 1 /^10/ /004952511840210/

Hello,
That was most of the information, but not quite all. All of the dial-peers you shared are shutdown. What type of PSTN connectivity are you using? BRI or FXO?
If you are using BRI, you are missing the translation profile itself.
Your incoming BRI dial-peers have the following translation profile(the numbers referenced might be different in your config):
translation-profile incoming BRI0-OP_Called_5
translate calling 3265
translate called 1
I'd like for you to recreate the issue while running some debugs to see what we receive from your provider. Could you run one of the following debugs depending on PSTN trunk type?
BRI
debug voice ccapi inout
debug isdn q931
FXO
debug voice ccapi inout
debug vpm signal
Then post the output of those debug commands here.
Thanks,
-john

I delet this post because it there in was no error

Hello,
I see that you are using translation rule 3265 on translation-profile BRI0-OP_Called_5, but I don't see that rule in another of the other posts. Does that rule exist in the config? Are you using BRI for you PSTN trunks? If so, can you setup the following debugs and recreate the issue:
debug voice ccapi inout
debug isdn q931
Then post the output of those debug commands here.
Thanks,
-john

do i have to put in the call back rules
in the calling number field 00
and in the
prefix to add field ""
is it like search and replace?
01-28-2013 02:53 PM
Hello,
Are you using a call back rule? The translation can be configured to search and replace all matches, or search and replace first match.
Thanks,
-john

Hi you find atteched the debug lo file.
I think you are searching this lines

In: Calling Number=000016092385748(TON=National, NPI=ISDN, Screening=Network, Presentation=Allowed)
271839: Jan 30 21:20:36.714: //264505/4AE9BD228A06/CCAPI/ccCheckClipClir:
Out: Calling Number=000016092385748(TON=National, NPI=ISDN, Screening=Network, Presentation=Allowed)
I do not using a call back rule.
My problem is I have tooked the system from someone else and I do not have the knowlege I also looking for an course for the uc systems.

Hello,
It doens't appear from the debug that we caught the entire call. I only see the call hitting a virtual dial-peer.
I see that you are using translation rule 3265 on translation-profile BRI0-OP_Called_5, but I don't see that rule in another of the other posts. Does that rule exist in the config? If so, can you post the 3265 rule? Are you using BRI for you PSTN trunks?
Thanks,
-john

Hi

!
voice translation-profile BRI0-OP_Called_5
translate calling 3265
translate called 5
!
there is no rule
01-30-2013 01:56 PM
Hello,
That is the profile that references the rule. I need to see the actual rule. You should have something like this in the configuration:
voice translation rule 3265
rule 1
rule 15
Thanks,
