External Dial Plan and FXO Ports

Hi,

Does the UC300 support editing of the external dial plan - i've got a possible setup where the FXO lines are part of a Centrex system and require you to dial 2x 9's for an outside line (e.g. 9901234123456)?

Can you also map each FXO port separately to a different use (e.g. FXO1 - go to AA, FXO2 - go to ext 221, FXO3 - go to Fax machine)??

Do the FXO ports support CLID?

Looks like a great product!!

Regards

Simon

Hi Simon,

No user editable dialplans currently, nor are there any plans to enable this in the immediate future.

Different FXO lines can be mapped to different destinations by placing them into separate Inbound Calling Routes.

The CLID for calls inbound on the FXO lines should be displayed on the phones.  Outbound calls through the FXO ports will have whatever CLID the telco has set for the line.

Cheers,

Dave.

Simon,

Currently centrex line dial plan is un-supported on the UC320.  You could try putting all the lines in Key System mode and map all the lines to buttons. However the inter-digit timers are going to be a little out of whack. When you press 9, the UC320 is really thinking that you are pressing a number with area code started with 9 eg. 919-XXX-XXXX, so you have to punch in your numbers real quick.
