Factory reset SPA921

Hi there,

I would like to do a factory reset on an SPA921 (5.1.8 firmware) - however when I go to do it, I am asked for an 'admin' password. I've never set an admin password and anything I try is not accepted. I don't care about any settings on the phone and just want to reset it. How do I do this please?

The admin pw must have been set by a previous user or service provider.  The phone is locked down without the admin pw.

Surely there has to be some way to do it? A jumper inside? Pull out a battery? A hard reset button?

It seems hard to conceive that forgetting a single password renders a device completely unusable surely?
