I am currently in the process of configuring a new uc320 + Mediatrix 4402, I am able to dial to the system and it goes through to the correct hunt group etc... But when I try to make an outbound call I am receiving "Internal Server Error" on the handset... Please see syslog extract bellow:

Just completed a log and the high lighted line stood out to me, not sure if it is related?

I see on the previous screen that the max calls is 0?  Shouldn't that be 2?  The call is failing several rows above your highlighted entry on the next screenshot:  FindDestination:  Call is not allowed.

Chris

Hi Matthew,

The UC320W and Mediatrix do not register with each other.

Chris

Cheers for all the help guys, is working stable now!

Hello Matthw,

i have the same issue and what is the solution to fix this problem ?

Best Regards

Sascha

Hello Sascha,

On the interface configuration page of the Mediatrix box, se the maximum active calls to how ever many lines you have avalible… eg isdn2 – set maximum active calls to 2.

Thanks,

Not sure if I should start a new thread for this, but we are having an issue where all incoming calls via the ISDN lines are showing as "anonymous" on the handsets, I have run syslog on the Mediatrix when completing an incoming call, and the only related messages I can see in the log are;

To: <92707200>;tag=213eba456046a1d3i5    192.168.2.253    03/01 16:45:26.052

<191>syslog: SipSignaling [280F] < From: ;tag=d11d594c22    192.168.2.253    03/01 16:45:26.052

Can some one please advise if this is the ISDN service provider sending through the call as anonymous or if it is a feature on the system that needs to be changed?

Hi Matthew,

Suggest looking at the ISDN logs if you suspect the call may be being sent as anonymous or as a private number.

Chris

Also you must have Point to Multipoint configured by Telstra or it wont work (even though selecting point to point appears to bring up both layers)

To all, please note we have posted an appendix for covering configuration for Telstra Australia (additional settings)

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-21838

We are also working to include additional countries on this page

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-15130

Alberto

Hi,

I think you need to specify that the device only seems to work with Point to Multipoint. - Setting point to point doesn't work if thats what sort of ISDN you have.

Telstra can supply the ISDN either way

I have it set as point to point, and all incoming and outgoing calls are working correctly. I believe this to be the correct setup for any phone system using an ISDN line. The only issue I am having is that it is not showing the incoming caller details, I will have another go at running sys logs from the mediatrix box, I am not sure which option to select to obtain ISDN logs...

Ummm I couldn't get it working point to point no matter what I tried!

Our setup is 2x isdn2 with indial point to point

I'm 99% sure that I got caller ID working.

I can check tomorrow and report back if you want. Are you able to send me a screen shot of your isdn settings?

Sent from my iPhone

I will login later today and get a screen shot for you, when I was setting up the original site I was unable to get it working with point to multipoint and when I was talking to the Telstra technician he advised me that point to point is the correct configuration for a phone system, so we had this changed at their end and on the mediatrix and all incoming and outgoing calls worked correctly.

I'm sure you have checked this already but is the isdn service subscribed to show/provide caller id? About $6 per month extra
