We have installed a new uc320 for a customer in london, its running the newest firmware but the customer is reporting a lot of line noise. We have only heard this once but the customer is adamant that they can hear a hum on the telephone line. Is this down to BT line issues or the phone system itself. Is there anythink I can try to test this.
Please connect an analog phone to the phone line directly (bypassing UC320W) to see if you can hear any hum noise. If yes, it means that the noise comes from BT line. If not, please connect the phone line back to UC320W and run impedance matching tool in configure utility at Configuration->Line(FXO) Ports.
