Multiple extensions on one phone

I've got a client who has more employees than phones.

Is there a way to assign multiple extensions to one phone?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

You can create additional extensions to a phone, then label them according to the user.  However, the Internal Directory will only list the main extension's user.

See example of this here:

Re: Multiple extensions on one phone

if there are more extensions than phones I assume you are just needing voicemail for each employee? If that is the case you create users with assigned extensions and voicemail boxes. Then set up a cheap spa301 in a common area. Now each employee without a phone can check voicemail at the 301 by dialing the vm pilot, press * then follow prompts to check vm. Or you could do voicemail to email.

Thanks Ryan for the input... I went with Julio's suggestion and I think the client is indeed happy... We'll know soon!
