No tone when connecting my Cisco SPA525G to Ethernet

Hi

I have connected my Cisco SPA525G to a switch and from there to the internet. I get an IP-address from my DHCP, but I get no dialing tone. Any ideas why?

at least you need to configure a SIP extension to the Phone first.
