SPA400 and asterisk

Hi All,

I have been trying to configure SPA400 with my asterisk,

What i am doing is that i have installed asterisk and i register a softphone (xlite) with my asterisk and place a call directly to SPA400, although the call passes to the end user, but SPA400 does not return proper SIP messages to my asterisk, so their is no ring back tone and after sometime the calls disconnects giving me request time out (although the end user is ringing). Can anybody guide if what i am trying is possible, and if yes why does SPA400passes no sip messages to my asterisk.

there's alot of stuff out there on the net with how to integrate SPA400 with different varieties of Asterisk.
