SPA400 - answer after 2 rings minimum ... why?

Hello!!

I noticed that the latest firmware for the SPA400 enforce the user to set at least 2 rings before answering a call.

As far as I can see in the release notes there is a mention of abnormal behavior and it looks like this is happening

in conjunction with low Wait-for-Answer times.


My question is than what kind of "abnormal" behvior can we expect if the answer after is set to 1 ring only?

In particular can this low value be cause of undesired drop of ongoing calls?

Hi Luca,

decreasing the number of rings can actually affect the Caller ID Detection by the SPA400.
