SPA5XX Phones freezing when receiving multicast page
For several months I have been troubleshooting an intermittent problem with a deployement of SPA509Gs and SPA514Gs where the phones freeze and require a power cycle after receiving a multicast page. I have tried every available 7.5.x firmware version without any change. I have tried different switches and disabling CDP and LLDP to no avail. When the phones are assigned to a VLAN and receive a page a random one or two out of 35 will lock up. We have tried Netgear FS724TP, Cisco SG200, and SG300 switches. Is this a known issue and is there a fix in the works? We have about 60 of these and the ability to make a multicast page is essential in our deployment.
