I am sure i am missing something here but I have set up an SPA941 with a user account and it is all working. When i go to access some feature of the phone it requires a password to be entered. The password set via the GUI is not numeric but includes letters. The password from my SIP provider also alphanumeric and cannot be entered here.
Having looked through the advanced configuration I cannot see a where this value is set.
If the phone was given to you by your service provider, they would have the admin password. Generally they would not give this password to the end customer as most of the admin features are for the service provider to configure.
