SSL VPN and UC560

Hi everyone,

I have a UC560 that sits behind a watchguard firewall (wasn't installed by us) and its connected to it using the gigabitethernet port (not the WAN). Customer now decided that they want a teleworker, so we suggested a SPA525G2 and use an SSL tunnel to connect it to the UC.

We have found out that watchguard does not support cisco products with their SSL VPN feature so we will have to use the UC560. The IT department has configured NAT 172.1.0.1 to point to 192.168.4.250 (UC560) but this isnt working as UC required WAN port activated to run the VPN wizard.

Now is there a way to not use the WAN port to get this working or there's no way around it?

Thank you,

Dmitry

Could you setup a Static NAT from the watchguard to the internal IP of the UC560?  If this is possible, then the UC is internet facing and you could plug the connection from the Watchguard into the WAN port on the UC560 and configure SSL VPN.
