UC320 - Incoming Call Blocking - Is this possible?

We have received a number of calls, sometimes 20 a day, they dial in and it rings through after AA gets through with it, which rings all phones, and nobody is there.... Dead air.

The call originates from "Asterisk" as the phone number, and this is the rare case where the phone shows both the calling name and number, both are "Asterisk".

I would love to block it, but don't have a clue how to do it for this call or any other for that matter.

Is there a global block list? Can you block a call from a handset?

Any help is appreciated,

John

UC320 - Incoming Call Blocking - Is this possible?

Hi John,

Can you tell me what version of the UC320W software you are running?   A similar issue was addressed in the latest Maintenance Release (MR2) and I would like to know if you are still encountering it on that release.  If so, and if possible can you try to capture a trace (or packet capture) of your Sip trunk when the issue is occuring and open a case with the Small Business Support Center.

Thanks,

Jeff
