UC500 and SPA525 2G

I have new setup with UC540 with 7 SPA 525 2G phones. 4 out of 7 phones register fine and work.

3 don´t register. Phone display just gives "unregistered" the phones seem all identical.

Has anyone had intermittent issues like this with the SPA 525 2G ?

Did you try to do a factory reset on the phone yet?

Yes tried all that. I am wondering if some of the SPA 525 2G has manufacturing faults...

In the phone menu under call control settings, is SCCP selected?

When you look under network settings do you see 10.1.1.1 as your TFTP server?

What IP address and VLAN did the phone pull up?

Do SPA525G2 support SCCP? I thought the two signaling protocols were SPCP and SIP.

No, only SPCP and SIP.  I sometimes forget SPA phones use SPCP instead of SCCP.

Hi Kristjan,

Make sure the MAC you put in is right on the entries in the system.

Also make sure they are listed as SPA-525G2 in either CLI or through CCA.

Both of those will also produce those errors.
