UC540/BRI interface in Dubai

Hi Community

Do anyone have experience with using UC540W-BRI-K9 in Dubai. Can there be some problem about there ISDN protocol compared to europe???

Dear Sir;

I have not set it up myself, but I have found that configuration uses DSS1 (EuroISDN). Set it to TE mode. Not sure if PTP or PTMP setup though.

Hi Steen,

The UC-500 series with BRI works in the UAE on their ISDN standard, you can also for it to be setup as Permanent Layer-1 Active and also PTMP, it is better to make sure that the layer-1 is always active and not on a demand basis.

Etisalat can support BRI maybe ask them to set it up as ETSI standards if you can...
