Re: UC560 Error (INIT)ServiceEngine cannot reset Unity Express

Are you using CCA or CLI to upgrade CUE?

You might want to go here to download the latest software pack and then use CCA to upgrade CUE.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9829

When you load up CCA go to the tab on the left to upgrade as shown in the picture.

My friend, believe you mave

My friend, believe you mave moved your unity from one router to other, and old config is there,

If you are getting (INIT)10.1.10.1#

Solution :

Strep 1: delete the startup config, using "erase startup-config"

Step 2: reload the CUE, using "reload" commain

Step 3: now you will be able to go "offline" and do "restore factory default"

Also you can load new config and work. Enjoy

Hi JRB,

(INIT) just means that you have not initialized the CUE yet, you can do this via CLI or you can use the web GUI to do it (Assuming you still have access to the GUI). You are unable to do any upgrade until the CUE is initialized.

Alternatively you could just use CCA like Marcus suggested and do it that way, take it from me.... Muuuuuuuuuuuuch more simpler and a lessor chance of putting the CUE in a failed state

Cheers,

David.
