what to do when HW failure

I have a question about the condition when partner need to RMA. Does anybody have good solution for this.

1,  what if one of HDD HW fails,  Need to RMA whole be6k Box?  or can swap only failed HDD using a specific PID?

2, what if the Fan fail, can change the only FAN part?

3, what if Default Power module fail, can partner swap?  or need to RMA the whole Be6K BOX?

Depends on this, the number of support stock which the partner need to have in Japan might change.

Hi,

1.- If you have a issue with one HDD into the RMA tool you can choose the PID that is the problem, or open a TAC case and the engineer assigned can request the HDD only.

2.- Its very difficult to request a fan only, maybe Cisco sends the top level part in this case the be6k box. If you open a TAC case the engineer can request the fan only.

3.- You can request the power module only with RMA tool, or again open a TAC case to request only taht part.
