I have a 2801 talking to a 2851 with GRE/IPSec tunnels. The 2851 has an AIM-VPN/SSL-2, while the 2801 is using the onboard VPN module. The max throughput I am able to see with qcheck or ftp is 10mbps, regardless of the encryption used. If I remove the crypto map, the bandwidth goes up to nearly wirespeed (100mbps). Is 10mbps a limitation of the onboard crypto card?
