I am having a problem using these programs Remote Desktop, VNC and Dameware whilst connected through our vpn. The applications connect intermittantly and when they do connect freeze or die after a couple of seconds. We have recently installed our 515e and did not have this issue prevoiusly. I searched through previous posts and the only thing i could find reccomended adjusting the MTU size. I have done this along with setting the MSS value down to 1300 but the problem persists. I attach our current config for you to look at and I would be very grateful for any suggestions that may help resolve the problem.
We have client to site and L2L vpns running. Can I confirm that I would have reset the L2L vpn connection for it to be able to pick up any configuration changes?
When you say MSS, you mean MTU done with Set MTU tool, right?
Can you make sure you enabled on PIX and VPN clients UDP (NAT) transparency?
