A Beginner Level Question on VPN

In case of site to site VPN tunnel, we can configure on the both the ends (PIXes or Routers) as to what are the netoworks for which VPN tunnel should be triggered.

In case of dial up, where there is no particular IP address given (since he gets only an IP address when he connects), how will the VPN work in this scenario?

Hi Nikh,

You can associate your VPN Client software to automatically trigger your dial-up everytime you want to connect to your VPN server (i.e PIX, VPN3K).

In VPN Client : Properties : Dial-Up tab, associate your dial-up by enabling the 'Connect to Internet via dial-up' checkbox.
