Accessing ASDM thru ssh tunnel.

I have a ASA 5520 with version 8.2.1 and asdm 6.2.1, when I connect the ASDM over the network from my workstation everything works fine, but when I setup a ssh tunnel from another workstation to my workstation and tunnel the https traffic, then is not possible to connect to the ASDM  get the error that the ASDM cannot connect the ASA within 60 sec. The ASDM then start in Demo Mode.

Does someone now why this not work when accessing thru a ssh tunnel, and what I need to do.

Hi,

When trying to run the ASDM thorugh the SSH tunnel, please send the output of "debug http 255" from the ASA.

Also, please apply captures on the ASA's interface you are trying to ASDM into and send those as well.
