I have an ASA 5505 given to me that I am trying to reset.
Reset factory defaults and updated ASA to 8.4.7 and ADSM to 7.1.4. At this point I was still able to connect using ADSM with no username/password.
Updated ASA to 9.1.3. This is the only change that was made. Now the ADSM will not connect asking repeatedly for a username/password.

This is a new default behavior to improve ASA security. Please refer to the "Important Notes" section of the ASA release notes for 9.1(3).
As described in those notes, you'll need to setup a local username from the cli and set the http authentication method to regain ASDM access.

I read through all that and the only thing I saw mentioned was the removal of the telnet password. For now I just want to get in without setting up any users while discussions take place on what those user(s) will be.
Is it possible to undo/turn off this "feature"?

Not while running 9.1(3). You'd have to downgrade.
As the release notes say "ASDM login issue in 9.1(3) and later—You can no longer log into ASDM with no username..."

That just bites. I may downgrade then.
