AES key in IPsec

Just out of curiosity, in IPSec VPN Diffie-Hellman algorithm is used to derive shared secret keys in Phase 1. Does AES use this keys to encrypt traffic in IPSec?

And another question, which is out of this area..

In WPA2 with 802.1x auth and AES encryption where does AES take the key from? Authenticaton can be performed either with Personal Certificate or username/password combination, but I can not understand which key is used for AES encryption
