Any update on VPN issue due to windows update!!

Quite recently there was an issue while connecting CISCO AnyConnect vpn "Failed to initialize connection subsystem" due to certain windows update.

Perhaps, there are a few workarounds to connect it however does anybody know if there if this has been fixed?

I got this today on my Twitter by MSFT support team, I have not tried it myself (I am on Win 7 still).

This looks like just a workaround which is same as to change the compatibility mode to Windows 8. After this work completely fine, however I am looking for proper fix which they could provide as a update.

Microsoft is planning to include the fix with the Microsoft March Patch Tuesday release (subject to change)

Also suggests using a GPO
