AnyConnect 3.1.05160 ignoring tunnel group name

We have a number of Windows 7 users on AnyConnect 3.1.05160.  Have run into an issue where some of them when connecting to the VPN, AnyConnect is not using the tunnel group name defined in the connection profile and thus the connection attempt on the ASA is to the DefaultWebVPNGroup.  For example, the connection url is configured as remote.vpn.att.com/employee.   On a handful of Windows 7 machines the /employee tunnel group name is ignored or stripped.  We have re-installed anyconnect, validated the .xml connection profile but it still ignores the group name and the connection attempt defaults to the DefaultWebVPNGroup.  Has anyone else run into this and if so were you able to correct it.
