AnyConnect on Windows 8 and 8.1 keeps disconnecting

Hi all,

I'm using AnyConnect version 3.1.04072 on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 and for every VPN I log in to, without fail, I get disconnected after a few seconds. I get reconnected shortly thereafter but it is very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this? When I use the old Cisco VPN Client, it works perfectly. When I use the same version of AnyConnect on Windows 7, it works fine too.
