Hello,

I need to migrate my webvpn applications to a newer (same modell) asa5520.

My question is: how to move the "AnyConnect Premium SSL VPN licenses: 10" from the old to the new appliance?

Unfortunately you can not move the license from 1 device to another device as per the following:

"Feature licenses cannot be transferred between devices":

How is it handled if the appliance had been distroyed? Some additional information: the old appliance is no more in use after the migration.

Unfortunately the only time when activation key for the license can be re-issued is when the appliance has hardware failure, and an RMA is raised.

You would need to purchase new license for the new ASA that you got.
